A massive haul of cannabis worth more than €7 million has been seized by gardai and Customs officers at Dublin Port.
The 352kg of herbal cannabis was discovered in a container that had arrived from Spain earlier today.
Three men were arrested following the seizure and are currently detained pursuant to the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996 at garda stations across the city.
The illegal drugs were seized as part of a joint operation between Revenue Customs officers and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB).
A garda spokesman said: "Three males aged 31, 47 and 49, were subsequently arrested by Gardaí and are currently detained pursuant to the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996 at Garda stations in Dublin City.
"Searches are continuing throughout the afternoon and investigations are ongoing.
"This operation was part of ongoing joint investigations targeting the illegal activities of organised crime groups.
