Monster boyfriend on run from Gardai after almost beating teen girlfriend to death over cheating claims

A cowardly woman beater is on the run from Gardai after kneeling on his girlfriend's body, pounding her with punches and almost leaving her for dead over cheating claims.

The brave young Brazilian teen who lives in Dublin was beaten to within an inch of her life after her boyfriend, who is in his late 20s, found "old messages" on her phone from before they were together.

The text the brute is said to have read before the savage assault was from another man who said he was interested in the victim. The young woman had not even replied to the message.

The victim claims she woke up to the gutless bully "kneeling on her arms and using her face as a punching bag".

A Garda manhunt has been launched to track down the attacker who is still at large almost three days on.

Speaking to Dublin Live, the victim said that it was the first time he had laid a finger on her - but vowed that it would be his last.

She said: "We're together eight months. I live in Dublin and he lives in Meath but we met in Dublin. It was the first time he's done that. I couldn't believe he would do such a thing. He was such a nice person."

The traumatised teen began to notice a change in her boyfriend's personality in recent months when he began checking her phone more often.

She said of her ex, who is also Brazilian: "He started getting very possessive and jealous but he never hurt me. He was always checking my phone afraid that I did cheat but I never did."

The vile assault happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, the man setting out to "kill" his partner while she was asleep in his house.

"I was in his house with some friends. I went to sleep and while I was sleeping, he decided to look back through some old messages, messages that I had got before we were together.

"He went mad. Accused me of cheating on him, that he got this 'feeling' about my infidelities from the old messages on my phone."

She says she doesn't remember the incident starting very well, waking up with her attacker over her.

She continues: "His knees were holding my arms down close to my body and then he just started punching me in the face.

"I begged him to stop, begged him not to kill me but he kept saying that he was going to kill me, no matter what."

In the middle of her worst nightmare, his flatmates heard her deafening screams and opened the door of his room finding the victim in a pool of blood, crying in agony.

"They tried to get him to stop but he was very aggressive. When he did stop punching me, I ran away and hid.

"I was so scared, I didn't want anyone to find me. I was afraid he would finish the job."

Once found by friends, she was immediately rushed to the hospital.

She worryingly admitted to Dublin Live that the attack has left her with a blood clot on her left eye and that she "may lose her eyesight".

What's even more shocking is the fact that her boyfriend has allegedly admitted to the savage assault on social media.

Posting on a Facebook status, he said: "Yes, I actually did punch her, she deserved it, she's a hooker cause she was cheating on me, everybody knew except me, so, yes, she deserved what I did to her.

"I attacked her because she is a whore, because she was cheating on me under my roof and making a mug of me.

"She's a slut, I didn't try to kill her, I made a mistake, I lost my mind but what she did was way worse than what I've done.

"Anyone else would have done the same in my place. But I'm a man, and I can admit to my mistakes. I want to see if she can do the same and admit her mistake like I'm doing.

"You can judge all you want but I've never done anything bad to anyone. Everyone who knows me knows that's the truth including you Jessica."

In another post he added: "Judge, point the finger it's easy. I admitted my mistake but I did it because I had a big reason. Don't throw the first stone if you have a glass roof. I'm not a coward, anyone who knows me, knows I would never do something like that if I don't have a reason.

"What I did was nothing compared to what she did. She destroyed my life. What I did to her was nothing compared to what she made me lose but I didn't try to kill her."

But she reiterates to Dublin Live: "But I actually never cheated on him, the messages he saw were from before we were together."

A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Officers responded to a call concerning an assault in Co Meath on Sunday, 1 November."

He added: "One person was conveyed to Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan for their injuries.

"No further details are available as investigations are ongoing."
