JAIPUR: Mild to moderate showers and lightning continued in Jaipur,Udaipur, Kota and some parts of the Jodhpur division on Thursday. Pungal in Bikaner received a rainfall of 90 mm, the highest in the state.
People in Jaipur woke up to overnight rainfall which guided the mercury to take a dip. A minimum temperature of 25.8 °C was recorded in the city. It was followed by an afternoon with a maximum temperature of 36.0 °C.
In the early hours, lightning and heavy storms were also witnessed that led to power cuts across the city. A rainfall of almost 20 mm was received in Jaipur. However, in the afternoon no rainfall was witnessed and scattered clouds were only seen in Jaipur.
