Monopoly fans can now take on a real-life version of the game and it looks so fun

Hardcore Monopoly fans will know that feeling where you're no longer playing a game and it all gets a bit too real.

But now, a brand new experience is actually bringing the classic board game to life, and it sounds like so much fun.

Aptly named Monopoly Dreams, players will be invited to walk through themed rooms with interactive technology bringing to life key elements such as Bank, Water Works, Electric Company, Train Station, Title Deeds and Chance cards.

There's even a fake jail cell (so you'll want to hold on dearly to those 'get out of jail free' cards!).

Alongside all of the excitement, you'll also be taking part in a storyline set in Mr Monopoly's mansion.

Rare McDonald's Monopoly pieces you need to keep an eye out for as game returns

Wandering through the grandiose halls, you'll be tasked with helping the millionaire hold on to his diamond sceptre, especially as a mysterious villain is wandering through the mansion hatching a plan to steal it.

Unfortunately for Brits, you're going to have to make some pretty big travel plans if you want to play, as the experience is opening in Hong Kong later this year.

World's largest underwater theme park will feature a sunken Boeing 747

Still, it could be the perfect excuse to finally book that Hong Kong break you've been dreaming about - and there are ways to find cheap flights to Hong Kong with the likes of Skyscanner where fares start from £294pp .

A cheese theme park actually exists and it's as glorious as you'd expect

The actual location of the experience within the city is pretty apt too.

That's because, in the Hong Kong edition of the board game, the most expensive tile is 'The Peak' - and this is exactly where the experience will be located.

Of course a trip to Hong Kong for a Monopoly experience is pretty dedicated - so for now we're going to dig out the classic board game at home, and keep our fingers crossed for a UK edition!
