An Airbnb in Skenfrith, Monmouthshire has been named in a list of the top 20 most festive stays and the pictures make it easy to see why.

The cosy detached cottage called The Stables has beautiful views of the rolling hills of Monmouthshire which you can take in from the hot tub with a glass of wine.

Inside, an open plan living space has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table with chairs, a sitting area with a comfy sofa and log burner, and a sleeping area with a king size bed and a TV.

The cosiness is in the details; low hanging beams, a large cutout clock, the baby blue kitchen, the fully stocked log burner and flowers all around the accommodation.

The list of the top 20 festive Airbnbs was pulled together by short-term rental insurance expert Duuo which analysed the UK’s December Airbnb listings and handpicked the most festive homes.

The list looked for cottages with log burners, hot tubs, and winter vibes.

It also included a Welsh property in Bont Dolgadfan, Powys called The Stag Lodge which has an outdoor hot tub lit up by a canopy of fairy lights to make the most of winter nights.
