HAD the coronavirus pandemic not struck, children across Monklands would now be in the midst of their school and nursery summer holidays.
But youngsters have been at home for a prolonged period – and will be until their return to education in August.
That doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy their summer break, though, and the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser is delighted to showcase another selection of photos of Monklands youths having fun throughout the lockdown period.
Whether it’s taking part in sport or exercise in the garden, playing board games, having family fun nights, enjoying a sing-song or heading out for a walk or cycle as part of their daily exercise, we welcome further submitted pictures.
