Monklands residents are invited along to enjoy a fantastic evening of entertainment in the company of brave Rangers legend Fernando Ricksen.
The Dutch midfielder, 42, is being cared for at Airdrie’s St Andrew’s Hospice as he battles motor neurone disease.
He will be joined by fellow former Rangers players Gordon Smith and Marvin Andrews, broadcaster David Tanner, comedian Dee Maxwell and singer Lynsey Glen for “An Evening with Fernando Ricksen” at the GoGlasgow Urban Hotel on June 28.
Tickets are priced £70 which includes a three-course meal, drink on arrival and a complimentary Fernando Ricksen magazine.

The event runs from 7pm until late and those attending can have their photo taken with Ricksen from 6.45pm.
