Moneypenny creating 100 jobs in Wrexham as surge in calls and live chat enquiries

Outsourced communications giant Moneypenny is recruiting another 100 staff after a hike in calls and live chat enquiries.

The Wrexham based firm is expanding its 850 strong team in the UK with more full and part time roles.

It comes as they have seen a 20% increase in phone calls over the pandemic and a doubling in live chat enquiries.

They have already taken on more than 300 staff since last March - with many of them from the badly hit hospitality and travel sectors.

The firm - which fields calls and live chats for thousands of large and small companies - also employs 250 workers in the US and recently opened new state of the art offices in Atlanta, Georgia.

Moneypenny Group CEO Joanna Swash said: "We are looking forward to onboarding our new recruits and one of our key strengths at Moneypenny is our unique insight into clients needs coupled with the best people and technology offering.

"At Moneypenny we believe strongly in the future of the office and are excited about being able to provide new offices based positions and as well as a new hybrid working model to our local area.”

The firm said that workers from travel and hospitality have been a good fit for the company due to their customer services skills.

Moneypenny is consistently featured in The Sunday Times Best Companies to work for in the UK.
