Conor McGregor told money has “turned him into a c***” by UFC legend

Michael Bisping has taken aim at fellow UFC star Conor McGregor - saying the Irishman's multi-million pound fortune has turned him into a "c***".

Speaking on the True Geordie podcast, Bisping claimed McGregor is "out of control".

While in conversation on troubled MMA star Jon Jones and his legion of fans, Bisping referenced McGregor as also having a huge following despite some unsavoury antics, as the Daily Star reports.

"People are watching for the fighter," Bisping explained. "If you want to talk about someone that is f***ing out of control... you know where I'm going to go. Conor f***ing McGregor.

"He's still got legions of f***ing fans. I know you had some very tough things to say about him when he had that incident with the old geezer in the pub.

"It's got f***ing worse. It's got no better. He goes out of f***ing control. Money doesn't make you a man. It just exposes what a c*** you are.

"But at the end of the day, people will tune in to see him fight inside the Octagon."

Bisping, 42, is the most successful British fighter in UFC history, winning the UFC middleweight title against Luke Rockhold in June 2016.

He would go on to successfully defend the crown against Dan Henderson in Manchester four months later before losing the crown to Georges St-Pierre in New York in November 2017.

McGregor, meanwhile, is widely regarded as one of the most significant figures in MMA history.

He became the UFC's first two-weight champion when he beat Eddie Alvarez in November 2016 to claim the lightweight crown, less than 12 months on from beating Jose Aldo to win the featherweight title.

But he has lost three of his last four bouts, suffering defeat to arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov and a pair of losses to Dustin Poirier.
