Money Saving Expert's quick way to get up to £2,500 for free

Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert website has recommended a way to get up to £2,500 for free.

The website, founded by the consumer champion, often shares ways to get freebies and discounts to help people save as much money as possible. Posting to Twitter, MSE's Deals account recommended using Pick My Postcode to get your hands on free cash.

They wrote: "It sounds too good to be true, but Pick My Postcode is a fun competition that runs daily and is completely free to enter". The website explains the draw as "a fun competition that's been running daily since 2011".

The scheme was formerly known as Free Postcode Lottery and should not be confused with Postcode Lottery - a similar scheme that pays out bigger amounts but costs money to play.

The biggest prize claimed since the site started is £2,500, but the main daily jackpot draw is currently £200 - which will rollover if it isn't claimed. You can also earn an extra bonus of 3p every day you check the site, which is added to your winnings if you're lucky enough to bag the jackpot.

There are also several smaller games to play including the £50 Survey Draw, which you can enter by answering a quick survey question, and the Stackpot, which gives you a chance of winning £10 if your postcode appears in a list updated twice daily. All you have to do to enter is be over 18 and register with your email address here.

Pick My Postcode is funded by ads, which appear all over the site, along with links to other freebies and surveys. You don't have to click them, they make it money just by being there.

The site's owner, Chris Holbrook, assured MSE that your email address will never be passed on to any third parties and you won't ever be required to enter your card details.
