There’s a way Sainsbury’s shoppers can get nearly £40 worth of free shopping, which Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has highlighted as a top hack.
The supermarket has a 0% credit card deal which gives you a big Nectar points boost when you shop at Sainsbury’s and spend on the card.
In his weekly MoneySavingExpert.com newsletter, Martin Lewis explains how you will can pick up 750 bonus Nectar point, which are worth £3.75 at Sainsbury’s, for every £35+ you spend at the store in the first two months, reports the Mirror.
To get the bonus points you need to have had a Nectar card for at least six months and be a new Sainsbury’s Bank customer. If you’re accepted for the 0% credit card, you can then start claiming the points.
The bonus is capped at £37.50, which is 7,500 points, on a maximum of 10 spends. These points will be added on top of the normal two points for each £1 spent at Sainsbury’s.

But Martin did have a word of warning for shoppers excited about the deal. He said: "Remember, only do this for normal shopping - please don't overspend..
"And if you're just doing this for the freebie, even though there's no interest for the first 20mths, it's still safest to pay it off IN FULL each month to ensure you'll never pay interest."
