Supermarket giant Tesco has made a major change to its delivery and collection prices by scrapping its cheaper option for one flat fee.
The peak and off-peak delivery model, which is used by many major UK supermarket chains, was scrapped on Monday, reports BerkshireLive.
However, thanks to Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis and his team, Tesco customers could still spread the costs and save money.
Previously prices would range from £2 to £7 per slot, however the flat fee will now be £4.50.

Those who get their goods delivered from a 'fulfilment centre' will have to pay £5.50 per delivery. A Click & Collect charge of £1.50 has also been introduced by Tesco for those who shop online then collect in store.
A new delivery cap of £40 has also been introduced which means any orders less than this for delivery would be charged a £4 surcharge. For Click and Collect orders there is a £25 cap.
However, moneysavingexpert.com says if you're a Tesco customer and get two deliveries a month then a better option could be to look at the supermarket's Delivery Saver method.
The Delivery Saver costs £7.99 a month or £47.94 for a six-month block and gives you free delivery and free click & collect, meaning this route is cheaper than paying per shop.
You can use it as much as you like during the month, but only if your order is more than £40.
The website also suggests, if possible, moving to Click & Collect for £1.50, or switching back to shopping in-store.
