Everyone enjoys a holiday abroad, especially in the summer.
However, with uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the collapse of Thomas Cook , it seems holiday prices are rising everyday.
But one money expert has revealed how to slash the price of your holiday by hundreds using a little-known trick.
Channel 4's How to Save £1000 Online revealed airline customers can knock huge amounts off their final bill.
Presenter Sabrina Grant showed two shoppers how they could save £367 off the price of plane tickets to Spain, reports Wales Online.
Sabrina told the pair to each make a booking for the same flight to Spain, but with one key difference.
The first was told to book tickets as a group of four people on the same booking, while the second was told to book an individual ticket on the same flight.
The group booking came in at a price of £950.92, while the individual booking cost just £145.98.
This means a saving of £367 if the tickets were all booked seperately.
Both shoppers were left ‘shocked’ by the savings, with one saying: “When I’m thinking of going on holiday with my friends I always think that if there’s more of us, it will be cheaper.
“When I found out that if you book as a group it’s more expensive, that really shocked me.”
The other shopper said that it had ‘really opened her eyes’ to booking flights online.
Sabrina warned viewers that if they were to buy three more tickets, the price ‘might’ rise.
She said: “Overall, you’re still likely to make a saving.
“It’s worth checking both ways of booking to get the best deal, as we couldn’t find savings on every flight we checked.
“When it did work, the price difference was significant.”
