Monaro Highway three-car crash causes traffic delays

ACT Ambulance are on the scene of a three way car crash on the Monaro Highway (not pictured).

A three car crash on the Monaro Highway southbound is causing some traffic delays, Emergency Services ACT has said.

ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service are on scene at the crash site, which is near the Alexander Maconochie Centre in Hume.

ESA said all three cars have been moved off the road, there were no injuries and no people have been transported to hospital.

While there are delays for southbound traffic at the moment, the ESA said not to expect extended delays later this evening.

"Motorists heading south should avoid the area and use an alternate route at this time," the ESA said.
