A lucky punter was made almost €20,000 richer over the weekend after landing a monster football bet.
The Monaghan backer placed a €30 accumulator bet on twenty selections with Boylesports online.
They only needed a goal to be scored by both Sunderland (2/9) and Espanyol (2/7), at least two goals to be scored in six other selected matches, and at least three goals in an under-23 match between Man City and Liverpool which finished 3-2.
The astonishing bet was completed with wins from Hearts (1/6), Ajax (2/13), Lille (8/13), Inter (2/7), Juventus (2/7), Peterborough (7/10), Bournemouth (4/6), Norwich (7/10), Brentford (10/11), Watford (5/6) and finally Liverpool (1/2), who had kept the bet alive with a last minute goal on Saturday afternoon.
With every selection coming in, the punter pocked €19,650.57 for his €30 stake.
