The Monaco royal family continues to maintain Princess Grace Kelly’s glamorous Hollywood legacy.
Prince Albert II of Monaco, who recently hosted a star-studded ball that raised money for ocean conservation and was attended by Gwen Stefani, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman and other celebrities, isn’t the only A-list adjacent member of the Royal family. His daughter, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, has released a single and is pursuing an acting career.
But her single isn’t just to aid her burgeoning music career - it’s to help people affected by climate change, which is a cause she cares deeply about judging by her Instagram page. She posts about young climate change activist Greta Thunberg and attended the climate strike in New York City.
The 28-year-old is the daughter of Prince Albert II and American Tamara Rotolo. Prince Albert met Rotolo while on vacation and they had a brief fling. Jazmin didn’t meet her father until she was 11-years-old and she grew up in California.
She’s currently dating model turned musician Ian Mellencamp, who’s the nephew of famous Jack and Diane singer John Mellencamp. He produced her new single Fearless, which she announced on Instagram.
All proceeds go to helping art-focused community centers in Fiji, which the Jazmin Fund opened a year ago. The young royal wrote, “The song was inspired and is dedicated to the people of FIJI specifically Naidi village where the last project was completed a year ago!”
This isn’t her only foray into Hollywood life - following in her grandmother’s footsteps, she’s going to appear in the next season of Marvelous Mrs Maisel, which is going to air on Amazon in December.
