Monaco president who sold Kylian Mbappe makes transfer prediction after Liverpool rumours

Former AS Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev believes Kylian Mbappe is 'headed towards a way out' at Paris Saint Germain after transfer rumours linking him with Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Vasilyev was sporting director at Monaco when Mbappe left in 2017 for a fee of £166m and revealed the 'ambitious' 21-year-old is keen to 'win everything and break all the records'.

But the Russian businessman also admitted he could see a future where the superstar striker - who has a deal until 2022 - signs a new contract in Paris despite being constantly touted with a move to the elite.

“He is going to have to make very important decisions, and right now he seems more headed towards a way out," Vasilyev told Telefoot

“Nothing is impossible. Kylian is young and what he wants to win are titles.

“Kylian is ambitious. He wants to win everything and break all the records.

“If tomorrow PSG propose an ambitious project, where he feels comfortable and with options to go further and guarantees that he can win everything in his career, he could renew.”
