Momentum is building at Nottingham Forest after run of victories admits Malian midfielder

It feels like momentum is building at Nottingham Forest after their fine recent form according to midfielder Samba Sow.

After an impressive win at Fulham a week ago followed up by the crushing victory over arch-rivals Derby County, Forest will hope to go into the first international break of the campaign with another win under their belts.

Standing in their way will be a Preston side in good heart themselves, one which occupies sixth place in the Championship table and unbeaten against Forest in their last six meetings.

Maximum points for Sabri Lamouchi’s men could see them end the weekend in third place, just reward for going unbeaten since losing to West Brom on opening day.

Sow is only too aware, however, that the Reds must take nothing for granted against Alex Neil’s Lillywhites in a game which will be another huge test of their credentials to challenge around the top six this term.

"We know that it is going to be a difficult game, like each game in the Championship,” he said.

“We have to be focused and to work to get the three points for the dynamic, because now we have done something good. That is already the past and the next one is the most important.

“We know that if we want to achieve our goals, we need to focus on each game in this league and we know that each game is difficult.

“We need to work and try and do our best to get the three points on Saturday.

“We can feel a bit of momentum building with the victories and we know that all points are important, but we will make the conclusions at the end, not now.

“We have one game to play before the international break, we do not need to think about this yet as the next game is very important.”
