Moment two men brawl in MMA-style fight on packed train shocking passengers

Two men brawled in a MMA -style fight in a packed train carriage in Hong Kong.

Video footage of the fracas which goes on for about one minute starting with two men punching one another other in the centre of the train carriage.

Others quickly walk away in an attempt to avoid the fight.

The video footage of the brawl went viral on Facebook.

The pair were seen throwing punches and throwing each other around the moving train, before the man who was dressed in black was slammed against the door.

A woman. who was dressed in white, attempts to stop the fight, but fails even though she appears to know the man in grey.

It is believed she is the girlfriend of one of them, according to Dimsum Daily.

Other passengers were seen getting up as one made their way to inform the driver.

The man in black shouted to his opponent to put his face mask back on after the commotion settled down.

An announcement by the train operator that they would assist at the next stop can be heard during the brawl.

The pair slow down their blows before the man in grey gives a final kick and the woman tells him “enough”.

The fighter returns the man in grey's mask, by throwing it on the deck and yelling at him: “Your mask” plus some choice words.

At the next stop MTR boarded the carriage to investigate the situation.

One shocked user commented: "It's a pity for you, Hong Kong people.

"You're so powerful that you're fighting with each other without any reason.

"It's a rare phenomenon in a civilized society. It's like a third world war."

Another added: "Hong Kong people just love to watch people fight.'

A third wrote: "Enthusiastic citizens, busy reminding the public to wear masks even after the pandemic is over."

The video was shared online by Today Review67 and racked up more than 2,500 likes and 1.1k shares.

It is not the first brutal fight to happen on an MTR train.

In December 2021, a 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a 63-year-old man for taking off his mask to eat in the carriage.

Hyun, the suspect, was arrested for alleged assault causing actual bodily harm on the Kowloon Tong platform at around 9.44pm on Christmas Day.

His victim, named Wong, was discharged from Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei after suffering head injuries.
