A man and woman are accused of stealing handmade baby clothes worth £800 from a South Kensington boutique adored by the Princess of Wales.
CCTV footage shared on social media by Blue Almonds on Walton Street appears to show the pair walking out without paying.
In the clip, the male is seen discreetly stuffing three pieces of blue items down his shorts while pretending to pick dropped clothing off the floor.
Dressed all in black, he then casually walks towards the door - waving goodbye to staff as he strolls off.
The female - in a white summer dress and sliders - promptly follows him out the door, looking back as she makes her exit.
Blue Almonds is one of London’s most expensive and a favourite of Kate, who has bought clothes for her children.
She and mother Carole Middleton purchased a £295 wicker basket for Prince George a few weeks before his birth.
When visiting the boutique in April 2013, Kate and Mrs Middleton spent up to an hour browsing Moses baskets on sale, before choosing a large white wicker version.
Blue Almonds’ previous clients are said to also include famous popstar Lily Allen.
A shopfloor manager told the Standard the haul was valued at several hundred pounds. Two suspects had been named since its Instagram appeal over the weekend.
“It’s so horrible and brazen,” she said. “This is a baby shop. It’s absolutely disgusting and I hope they die of embarrassment.
“The video has been very helpful and it seems a number of people know who they are.
“If it was their first time, it will be the last.
“We’ve had a couple of things taken before but never posted about it on Instagram. We were just so annoyed. How could they do it? But the response is absolutely incredible.”
She added: “When we calculated, it was about £800. These are handmade products, which is why they are so expensive. They are premium but they cannot be resold elsewhere. It’s not like a Chanel handbag.”

“No arrests have been made at this stage.”
