Moment police descend on lockdown party as laughing guests caught fleeing into the night

This is the moment police broke up a lockdown party at a block of flats in Cheetham Hill.

Eye witnesses described seeing around 20 police officers force entry to an apartment block on Derby Street at around 3am on Saturday night (16 January).

GMP have confirmed they attended the address after reports of a party breaching coronavirus restrictions.

Initial reports suggest that at least 40 people may have attended the event.
