NHS staff at Manchester's Nightingale coronavirus hospital joined people from across the region in clapping for our carers tonight.
At 8pm every Thursday, the nation comes together to celebrate the key workers helping the ill and vulnerable during the coronavirus pandemic.
The round of applause has become part of our weekly lockdown ritual.
And tonight was no different in Greater Manchester.
Thousands of people were out on their doorsteps, balconies, drives and in their front gardens for the fifth mass round of applause.
Staff the new NHS Nightingale Hospital North West at the Manchester Central Convention Complex also took a break from work to pay tribute.
The field hospital was built in just three weeks and has already started treating COVID-19 patients from across the region.
Staff who work inside the hospital stood outside the G-MEX building to clap at 8pm.
They were joined by firefighters from the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.
Stockport Town Hall and Manchester Victoria train station were also lit up in blue in a show of support for the NHS.
Why people are clapping for our carers...
The UK has gone into lockdown to help prevent the spread of coronavirus and to ease pressure on the NHS.
But scores of key workers are out and about in the community to make sure that people are safe, fed and cared for during this national crisis.

That's why the nation has been joining hands to show their appreciation for the doctors, nurses, supermarket staff and teachers who are keeping the country running.
The Clap For Our Carers campaign was the idea of Dutch yoga teacher Annemarie Plas who lives in London.
She took to social media to spread the word, with millions of people across the nation joining the first clap on Thursday, March 26.
Tonight was the fifth time it took place.
