Moment Mustang ‘driven by 18-year-old Atlanta Braves catcher’ causes fatal big rig rollover crash in Florida

This is the moment a Ford Mustang allegedly driven by an 18-year-old Atlanta Braves catcher caused a fatal rollover crash which killed a father-of-four truck driver in Florida.

Jonathan Matos Morales has been arrested over the crash on I-75 in Manatee County on the morning of April 20.

It is alleged his 2022 black Ford Mustang was swerving in and out of lanes before it collided with a Chevy Trailblazer, forcing the SUV into the right lane.

This caused a big rig to flip, killing the driver, Owen Facey, 34. The driver of the SUV survived.

Florida Highway Patrol say Morales then fled the scene. He was turned in by the Atlanta Braves MLB team who say he was ‘formerly signed’ to their minor league system.
