The 40-year-old actress, who plays Brienne of Tarth in the HBO fantasy-drama series, took to Instagram ahead of tonight's much-anticipated final episode.
This evening, at 2am for dedicated UK fans, viewers will finally discover how the series ends.
Taking to Instagram tonight, Gwendoline shared a photo of herself with Kit Harington, both donned in their costumes.
Gwendoline looks startled as she speaks to someone out of shot while Kit glances at the camera person and appears to be heaving a great big sigh.

This comes as co-star Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke pays emotional tribute to Danaerys Targaryen .
The 32-year-old actress took to Instagram to express her sadness at the hit HBO series coming to an end and said that her role as the mother of dragons has shaped her "as a woman, as an actor and as a human being".
Emilia, who has starred in Game of Thrones since the first season in 2011, said that Khaleesi had "taken up the whole of her heart".
