Shocking footage shows flames bursting out of a burning home in Bristol.
Smoke can be seen rising from the scene before firefighters arrive and douse a first-floor window with water.
Neighbours said they heard a 'popping' sound and then breaking glass before flames shot out of the window.
One resident said strong winds helped the fire 'take hold' on Wednesday, Bristol Live reports.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service sent multiple crews to the blaze, with six firefighters using breathing apparatus and three high-pressure hose reels, one 45mm jet and the turntable ladder to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for the fire service confirmed there were no injuries and a witness told Bristol Live that the residents were seen evacuating the house downstairs as the flames burst out of an upstairs window.
Martyn Howlett, who lives near the property, told Bristol Live he heard a 'popping sound' outside while in his kitchen.
He added: "I went in the front room and saw the fire, and within literally a matter of seconds, like 20-30 seconds, the window shattered and, because it's really windy as well, the fire just took hold very quickly.
"With the gusty wind as well, it sort of just exploded and the window shattered."
He watched as the residents evacuated, adding: "People came out from downstairs, and there didn't seem to be any urgency, and the ambulance didn't attend at all. My understanding is that there was nobody upstairs."
Mr Howlett said the fire service arrived 'within minutes' and firefighters were still dousing the upstairs with water over an hour after the blaze first broke out.
In a statement, Avon Fire and Rescue said: "We were called to reports of a fire in a residential property on Muller Road, Bristol at 11.23am on December 29.

"Crews from Temple, Bedminster and Kingswood responded to the call.
"Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three high pressure hose reels, one 45mm jet and the turntable ladder to extinguish the blaze.
"The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
" Avon and Somerset Police are also on the scene."
