Moment easyJet plane aborts landing at Bristol Airport due to high winds

The pilot of an easyJet flight was forced to abort a landing at Bristol Airport due to 'powerful gusts' this week.

A video, posted on YouTube by plane spotter Mraviationguy, shows the flight from Barcelona coming in to land on Tuesday, March 10.

Passengers on board the Airbus A319 are likely to have experienced a bumpier landing than usual as the plane battled strong winds.

Moments before the wheels touched down, the pilot abandons the landing before later touched down successfully without issue.

Posting the video on Youtube, Mraviationguy said: "This easyJet Airbus A319 arriving from Barcelona had to go around at Bristol Airport (10th March 2020) during some strong winds with powerful gusts coming from the west."
