This is the hilarious moment a man wanted in connection with a burglary face-plants the floor after scaling a garden fence.

In footage released by West Midlands Police, the suspect is seen plummeting to the floor of a garden face-first after climbing a fence following the break-in.

After dusting himself off, the man then staggers around the garden before walking out of frame, Birmingham Live reports.

Police say a house was broken into on Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, at around 1.10pm on November 16, 2019.

Hundreds of pounds in cash and other items were stolen from the property after the suspect smashed a window to gain access.
