During the robbery, in Queensland, Australia, the inept raider nonetheless revealed himself when he took the bag off in order to store his loot.
The man entered the station, in Caboolture, and produced a knife, police said.
The sole staff member complied with his demands and he was given cash.
When she handed over cigarettes, however, he exposed his face as he removed the disguise and greedily filled the blue bag.
As the robbery happened, a man in a green hoodie and shorts watched on while carrying a Slush Puppie-style beverage.
No one was injured during the robbery, which happened on Monday, with Queensland Police issuing an appeal for information to identify the suspect.
