This picture shows the moment a blood-soaked heroin addict was caught after he stabbed a law-abiding dad to death.
Daniel Devlin, 47, fatally knifed Dominic Brown, 31, outside a pub in Clydebank, Scotland, in August, and was sentenced to life in jail yesterday.
Devlin, has 68 previous convictions and was out on licence for a knife possession offence when he committed the murder, reports the Daily Record .
His wife Donna Marie Simpson, 39, denied attempting to murder Dominic’s friend Stephen Morgan, 34, by stabbing him during the brawl.
She comforted her husband as she walked free from the dock at The High Court in Glasgow after her not guilty pleas were accepted.

The court heard how Dominic, a joiner and dad to a young son, managed to make it to his home nearby after being knifed in the abdomen with a 12cm blade by Devlin.
He lay bleeding in his mum’s arms before dying in hospital a short time later.
The image obtained by the Daily Record shows Devlin and Simpson spattered in blood as police corner them just minutes after the attack.

Lord Frank Mulholland sentenced Devlin to a minimum of 17 years behind bars, saying he had an “extensive” criminal record and there was no guarantee he would ever be deemed fit for release on parole.
He told Devlin he had “callously” taken the life of a much-loved dad, son and brother.
The judge said: “You inflicted a catastrophic injury on him which gave him little chance of survival.
“He got home and was in the arms of his mother suffering from the catastrophic injury inflicted by you.

“Your record shows you are no stranger to carrying a knife. You were on licence at the time for a breach of a supervised release order imposed for carrying a knife.”
The court heard Dominic, who had never been in trouble with the police, had been out with his friend Stephen at Cleddan’s pub in Clydebank on August 5 when they became involved in an altercation with Devlin outside, who was in the area trying to score heroin.
Dominic did not know his killer but Stephen knew him to be local.
Advocate depute Margaret Barron said the friends were annoyed at Devlin for loitering nearby and going through bins and decided to “pull him up”.

Dad stabbed in neck during 20-minute street fight was expecting second child
Dominic went home to his house while Devlin went to his wife’s flat to arm himself with a knife.
When Dominic returned to the pub, he was approached and stabbed by Devlin in front of a number of witnesses.
The prosecutor said he had been backing away from Devlin when he was attacked.
CCTV showed the dad “clutching his right hand side” before making his way home at about 5.45pm, where his mum Margaret held him on the kitchen floor until help arrived.
Pathologists ruled he had died from “rapid and profuse blood loss” from a 2inch open wound.

The court heard Devlin’s extensive criminal record dated back to when he was 16 and he had been a heroin addict for much of his life.
In 2016, he was locked up for possession of a knife but breached a supervision order and was jailed for eight months.
He was freed in April last year and murdered Dominic nine days before his licence was due to expire.
Defending, Donald Findlay QC said Dominic and Stephen had spoken to Devlin in an “extremely unpleasant way” before the attack and said he was the victim of a “vicious kicking assault” at the hands of a group who had gathered at the scene.
He added: “If they had minded their own business, this would never have happened.
“It is regrettable that this man has lost his life but Mr Brown was the first to use violence that day and was one of the last to use violence that day.”
Stephen, who was a long-term friend of Dominic, was critically ill in hospital following the incident before recovering. Dominic’s family were in court but were too upset to comment.
Simpson refused to comment on her husband’s conviction at her home in Castlemilk.
Detective Chief Inspector Grant Macleod of Police Scotland’s major investigation team said: “This was a tragic case where a man has lost his life, and another will now face a number of years in prison, following a violent fight outside a pub.
“I hope today’s sentencing will bring comfort to Dominic’s family in what has been a painful and distressing time for them.”
