Moment Asda security guard 'pulls woman with pram filled with bottles' back into store

Footage has showcased the moment a supermarket security guard pulled a pushchair from a woman as she attempted to leave an Asda store.

Inside the pram is what appears to be bottles of alcohol, but it is not clear where they came from.

There also appears to be no sign of a youngster during the brawl at the Asda in Walsall. The video was filmed by a passer-by, Claire Louise, on April 6.

Birmingham Live reports that an alarm can be heard going off as a security guard attempts to pull the pram - seemingly being used to transport goods and not a child - back into the shop.

Seeing the scuffle, a woman steps forward to volunteer her help.

The pram then falls on the floor before the security staff member gestures to the woman to step away. A blue blanket can be seen in the pushchair during the commotion.

Fellow ASDA shoppers look on in amazement as the events unfold. Almost 3,000 people have reacted to Claire Louise's original post of the video on Facebook and the footage has been shared a staggering 8,000 times in just two days.

West Midlands Police confirmed to Black Country Live that they were not called to the incident.

A spokesperson for ASDA has been approached for comment.
