Footage shows a suspected stolen car being chased by armed police through Liverpool.
At one point the white car and pursuing officers appear to be heading down the wrong way down Erskine Street in Islington during the early hours.
Police confirmed that the vehicle was eventually recovered "after a lengthy pursuit" and pictures from an ECHO reader show the abandoned car in Princes Road in Toxteth.
The driver is thought to have evaded police and fled the scene.
Pictures show the car with its front and rear doors open parked at an unusual angle on a pavement.

Video footage from just before 3am today shows at least four police cars sounding their sirens chasing the car down Islington and close to the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
One witness said the police helicopter and dog section responded to the incident.
Merseyside Police 's Road Policing Unit tweeted around 4am today: "This vehicle was recently stolen in a burglary and spotted by one of our #ARVS (armed response vehicles) in Liverpool.
"After a lengthy pursuit, assisted by @MerPolDogs the vehicle was recovered and lots of #Forensic opportunities left behind."
