Moment Andrew Tate was detained as police raid video shows guns and swords in villa

A police raid video showing the inside of Andrew Tate's villa captures guns, swords and wods of cash following his arrest on Thursday.

Former kickboxing world champion Tate, 36, was one of four people arrested on Thursday in connection with an investigation to alleged human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group. The American-born Brit, who is nicknamed 'Cobra', received unprecedented internet fame this year due to controversial views on women and society.

Tate was filmed being taken away in cuffs before police conducted a raid at his property. His younger brother Tristan was also arrested and detained for 24 hours along with two other suspects. While being marched away in cuffs, Tate declared that "the Matrix has attacked me" to cameras at the scene.

In the clip from Romanian police, which took place after Tate's arrest, officers can be seen walking through the luxury villa. The video, from an officer's perspective, shows guns, brass knuckles and swords on tables in the house. A high-end security system also shows the view of 16 different CCTV cameras around the villa.

Tate and Tristan are being questioned on suspicion of forming an organised crime group which used girls in adult videos. Romanian prosecutors said the brothers, along with two unnamed people, "appear to have created an organised crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content" and would have gained important sums of money.

A spokesperson for Tate told the Daily Mirror: "We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can."

Unproven reports have suggested authorities could have used a video that Tate posted online which featured pizza boxes from prominent Romanian chain Jerry's pizza, as proof he was in the country. In the video, the pizza boxes could be seen on a table as Tate responded to Greta Thunberg after the climate campaigner mocked him in a tweet that received over three-million likes.

The four-time kickboxing world champion has been linked with boxing fights against YouTube stars Jake and Logan Paul, as well as with their fellow content creator KSI. 'Cobra' appeared on series 17 of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 but was later booted off after a video emerged of him allegedly beating a woman. The woman later insisted her relationship with Tate was consensual.
