A 19-year-old girl has gone missing after she went out for a morning walk on Christmas Eve. Camila Mendoza Olmos was last seen when she left her home in Bexar County, Texas, and then disappeared without any trace. Security camera footage shows her final moments outside her house before she vanished.
According to The Sun, the video shows Camila wearing baby blue pajama shorts, a black hoodie, and white shoes. She appeared to be looking for something inside her car. But she never came back home, and her car stayed parked outside the house. She also left her phone behind, which makes her disappearance even more puzzling.
Police believe Camila left on foot and only took her car keys and possibly her driver’s license with her, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators say Camila is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 110 pounds. People are now very worried about the teenager because of her sudden disappearance, and many fear something bad may have happened to her.
Camila’s mom reveals the disturbing moment she realized her daughter was gone
Camila’s mother, Rosario Olmos, said her daughter often went for morning walks, so it wasn’t unusual. She told local news that they were sleeping together early on Christmas Eve morning when she felt her daughter get out of bed. About 90 minutes later, Rosario woke up and realized Camila was gone.
Rosario then called her daughter’s boyfriend and father, but both said they hadn’t seen or heard from the teen. The disappearance happened while many families were preparing to watch their favorite holiday films and celebrate the festive season.

LE has released dash cam footage given to LE by a good Samaritan. Camila is seen walking on the roadway. Clearly, she is not under duress. Again, Camila was out on a walk so I am not surprised to see her walking.

The tragic incident has cast a shadow over what should have been a joyful holiday, reminding people that Christmas can bring unexpected tragedy to families across the country.
Camila’s dad said it has been really hard for the family and asked his daughter to come home because he misses her. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about Camila’s location to contact them immediately.
The family is desperate for answers and hopes someone saw something that could help bring Camila home safely. The search for the missing teen continues as authorities investigate all possible leads, joining other lesser-known Christmas crimes that have shocked communities during the holiday season.
