Molly-Mae says she'd never go back to 'old life' and admits she can't please everyone

Pretty Little Thing mogul Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about life in the spotlight.

The 22-year-old entrepreneur has millions of followers and is the creative director of a company worth shedloads - but her comments often miss the mark with fans.

The influencer came under fire recently for her 'tone-deaf' musings about success - but Molly says she's had to accept she "can't please everyone".

Speaking about her six million Instagram fans she said: "I've got a lot of young followers that are extremely affected by the things I say, so I've got to be super careful.

"I've had to accept over the last three years that I'm not going to be able to keep everyone happy. It's not possible."

The ex-Love Islander started out as an influencer at the age of 16, but says she doesn't miss her 'old life.'

When asked by new! magazine if she still considers herself to be an influencer, Molly said: "I still am now. I'm taking pictures and posting them. I don't relate to it fully because I do so much more than that, but I don't shy away from that term."

She also explained that despite having a "million things and one things to do every day", she's "so blessed," gushing: "It's the life I've dreamed of."

On Wednesday, Molly launched her latest Pretty Little Thing collection at London Fashion Week.

She is also in the process of launching a PLT Marketplace app, where clothes from various brands can be swapped.

Molly said she was "excited" by the prospect of sustainability and will also be donating some of her PLT pieces - giving the proceeds to charity.

After ruffling feathers with her "I work my a**e off" comments, Molly is set to take fans behind-the-scenes at PLT HQ with her upcoming documentary.

She said: "PrettyLittleThing is such a young and current business, we want girls to feel like they're a part of the brand and the family.

“So we're really excited about this BTS documentary," she added, "We've been working really hard on it."

She's also written a book (mollymae/Instagram)

In her bid to achieve what some fans have dubbed as 'world domination', Molly has also released an autobiography called Becoming Molly-Mae.

The book explores her stratospheric rise to fame since starring on Love Island, where she met her boyfriend, boxer Tommy Fury.

Revealing her news on social media, Molly squealed: "So I've written my very own book! This is Becoming Molly-Mae, my first ever book and it's literally, this is my baby.

"I've honestly put so many months of work into this book, you have no idea and it's been such a journey and such an adventure."

However the post wasn't received as warmly as the influencer may have wished with several fans making quips about the book's content.

One wrote: "Went on love island - the end."

While another teased: "Becoming Molly-Mae; Chapter 1: go on Love Island. End of book."
