Molly-Mae's mum stuns Love Island viewers after saying Tommy is 'too good for her'

Molly-Mae Hague's mum shocked Love Island viewers after telling her daughter that Tommy is "too good for her".

The social media influencer was left stunned when her mum and sister entered the villa.

But viewers couldn't believe her mum's jokey quip that she wasn't good enough for the boxer.

One tweeted: "I felt bad for Molly ☹️ Her mum was quite judgy Like I know Molly probably doesn’t mind but saying “he’s too good for you” That’s a little far #LoveIsland #loveisland."

While another commented: "I would not like my mom telling me my boyfriend is too good for me and keep commenting on how chiseled he is #loveisland."

A third remarked: "“ he’s too good for you “ if my mum ever said that to me wow she ain’t my mum #loveisland."

But that wasn't the only shock in store for Molly-Mae as she glanced at her mum's hand.

After the pair began gushing about Tommy and how lovely he was, insisting that they were perfect for one another/

But Molly-Mae's mum told her: "Something's changed about me."

Molly-Mae looked confused and suggested it was her eyelashes, but her mum pointed her down to her hand.

The Islander burst into tears at the sight of the rock on her mum's wedding finger and grabbed her hand.

Earlier in the episode, Maura Higgins' mum quickly became a fan favourite as she didn't hide who she really wanted to see - and it wasn't Curtis Pritchard.

Tonight, the Islanders were all left in tears as their families entered the villa.

First to appear were Curtis and Maura's families, who ran towards the Islanders to give them a hug.

Maura's mum was quick to wrap her arms around Curtis as she said hello, but quickly pushed away from him when she spotted basketball player Ovie Soko.

She exclaimed: "This is the man I want to see!"

Ovie laughed as Maura's mum reached up to hug him and fans were in hysterics.

One tweeted: "maura’s mum is the most relatable person of this series #LoveIsland."

While another commented: "Maura's mum likes Ovie . What a woman."

A third remarked: "Iv said it once ill say it again, Maura mother knows best . Ovies a good guy."

"Sorry Curtis Maura's mum has someone else in mind #loveisland," another joked.
