Molly-Mae now living life as a brunette as she kicks off 21st birthday celebrations in lockdown

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed a new look in lockdown, showing off a brunette hair colour.

The Love Island blonde bombshell appears to be embracing her natural roots as she kicks off her 21st birthday celebrations.

Molly-Mae, who turns 21 on Monday, shared a photo of herself near her home in Manchester with the words "Apparently I’m living life as a brunette now."

Molly has received gifts from the fashion brand PrettyLittleThing including balloons and tiny cupcakes with her face emblazoned on them.

"Such a babe," said her Love Island 2019 co-star Maura Higgins.

"Love you as a brunette!" praised one of her fans.

"I love your hair!" exclaimed another.

The reality star recently revealed in lockdown that brunette is her true colour.

"Not many people know this, well you probably do know it from my root," she revealed while lowering her head towards the camera so her fans could see on Instagram.

"I'm actually a mousy brown colour, quite dark, so this is actually not my natural hair colour at all."

And she said she was 'this close' to going brunette before going on the ITV2 dating show Love Island.

Molly-Mae is living in lockdown with Manchester boxer Tommy Fury who she met on Love Island.

Tommy also recently celebrated his 21st while staying at home.

Earlier this month the couple shared their anger over dozens of people flouting lockdown rules in Ancoats.

The pair both posted video online of people milling around and sitting down together while soaking up the sun in Cutting Room Square on VE Day.

"What is going on out here? Why's everybody out?" asked Tommy.

"Honestly are we missing something or is social distancing not a thing anymore?" asked Molly-Mae, who is followed by four million on Instagram.

In another post on her Instagram stories she explained: "I know it's VE Day and the weather is beautiful but the amount of people outside is actually insane considering we are still in a full lockdown."
