Molly-Mae has jokey warning for Maura Higgins about Tommy Fury

Molly-Mae Hague has issued a jokey warning to her best pal Maura Higgins if she was ever to set her sights on her boyfriend Tommy Fury again.

Molly-Mae, Tommy and Maura have been hanging out together and fans recalled that Maura once had a flirtation with Tommy when she first entered the Love Island villa.

Manchester boxer Tommy went on to pursue romance with social media influencer Molly-Mae on the ITV2 dating show and the pair are now living together.

Asked if she had ever watched back the scenes of Maura and Tommy on Love Island Molly-Mae admitted she had,but insisted this is all firmly in the past.

In a fan Q&A on her Instagram Stories she said: "I’ve had so many messages about Maura being here and hanging out with me and Tommy and stuff, you have to understand that it’s really ok."

Molly,21, explained that she and Maura, 29, weren't friends at the time when she made a play for Tommy, but made clear that if it were to happen now, she wouldn’t be best pleased.

"Me and Maura didn’t even know each other then, we weren’t even friends," she said.

"Like it’s a different story if it’s your mate. That’s just like a no go, but it’s really not deep.

"We weren’t friends when that happened."

Pulling a mock annoyed face she said: "But now, if she tried to go for him now."

Clearing up the matter further Molly-Mae said Maura and Tommy, 21, have a brother and sister-type relationship.

"Tommy and Maura are like brother and sister now," she said.

"I know that seems weird to some of you guys, but for us three it’s really not. We’re like best mates."

Maura, who went on to compete in the ITV celeb contest Dancing On Ice after Love Island, is currently single following her split from fellow Islander Curtis Pritchard back in March.
