Molly-Mae Hague 'so excited she could cry' over purchase of dream home after burglary

Molly-Mae Hague has hinted she has bought her first home after a terrifying burglary forced her to move out her last flat.

Thieves “ransacked and emptied” the £1.3 million Manchester pad she shared with boyfriend Tommy Fury in October.

The Love Island beauty revealed the robbers made off with around £800,000 worth of stuff leaving her and Tommy with nothing.

After the devastating burglary Molly-Mae told her 1.6 million YouTube subscribers: “It was without a doubt the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.”

The couple have since moved house, paid for 24/7 security and are more careful about what they share on social media in a bid to stop it happening again.

But after a rough few weeks, it looks like things are on the up and Molly-Mae said she and Tommy have been viewing houses in a bid to find ‘The One’.

Sharing a Christmas vlog from the house where she is currently living with Tommy, the 22-year-old told fans: “As much as I love it, I don’t particularly want to stay at this house for too long because the rent is disgusting.

“Me and Tommy could be paying off an unbelievable mortgage for the rent that we’re paying here. So we’re still, every flipping day, on the search for a house.”

Later on in the video she revealed she had a viewing at a dream property but didn’t want to say too much in case she “jinxed” it.

Molly-Mae said: “I don’t know if this is going to be my YouTube room anymore, because that house viewing that I had – I honestly don’t want to say too much because I am so flipping scared of jinxing it.

“When I was speaking to Fran [her manager] about this situation with this house I went to view the other day, she was like don’t tell anyone about anything to do with this house until we know more and we’ve made further progress.

“But put it this way, I don’t think I’ll bother making this into my YouTube room because, I don’t know, I’m so, so, so excited I could literally cry.”

The reality TV star added: “I’m not saying anymore because knowing my flipping luck it won’t go through.”

Molly-Mae revealed she was now back home in Devon and would be taking a break from social media while she enjoyed five weeks off for Christmas.

Before finding fame on Love Island, Molly-Mae had a YouTube channel and social media accounts which had already gained her a big following.

Sharing a throwback snap from before she was mega famous, she wrote: “I remember posting pictures from this house and my following started to go up and up out of nowhere. My mum, dad and sister took all of my content!”

“I’m in my at home bedroom which feels very nostalgic, very weird. This is literally where my journey began with Instagram - all my cuddly toys, nothing changes – but yes it feels so nice to be home.

“I always feel so weird when I’m back in this bedroom as it just fills me with so many memories....if you remember the posts I used to take in this bedroom then you really are a serious OG.”
