Molly Mae Hague says she and Tommy staying together has 'proved everybody wrong'

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague says that she and beau Tommy Fury have "proved everybody wrong" over accusations that they're a fake couple.

Since Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins called time on their romance, Molly and Tommy are the only remaining couple from Love Island's 2019 series.

Molly and Tommy were hit with allegations during their stint in the villa and beyond that they're not the real deal - and now Molly feels she can confidently put the rumours behind her.

Taking to her Instagram Stories to answer fan questions, Molly was asked if the rumours got to her - especially considering they're the last remaining couple.

"It's not annoying," she told, "Because everyone's entitled to their opinion.

"We proved everybody wrong in the end, anyway."

Molly and Tommy came second together on Love Island, just missing out on the top spot to Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.

Tommy's since returned to the ring to pursue his boxing - following in the footsteps of big brother Tyson.

Molly, meanwhile, landed a lucrative deal with fashion outlet PrettyLittleThing.

Their relationship looks to be going from strength to strength, now shacked up together in Tommy's native Manchester and regularly gushing over one another.

Asked what her favourite thing about her hunky boyfriend is, Molly smiled: "He can literally make me laugh like nobody else on this planet.

"I honestly every single day cry with laughter."

The pair even chat openly about the future - including kids.

To hear Molly tell it, Tommy wants the Fury brood to include four little ones, whereas Molly would be happy with two.

They're self-isolating together amid the coronavirus outbreak, with Molly admitting last month: "The last couple of days have been a bot hard on me and Tommy - especially not that all the gyms are shut, all the restaurants are shut.

"It's crazy. But yeah, I'm thinking of you all."
