Molly-Mae Hague reveals the way she tackles fat-shaming trolls and how they respond

Molly-Mae Hague revealed she sometimes responds to cruel messages about her appearance and is shocked by the responses.

The Love Island star confronts a lot of the online bullies but is startled when they answer with their love for her.

Speaking on a YouTube series called If I Could Tell You Just One Thing, hosted by Patricia Bright, the PrettyLittleThing Creative Director said she gets a "kick" from responding to them.

The 22-year-old explained to the host: "Sometimes I'll actually reply to people that send horrifying DMs. I'll just message back and be like, 'What made you wanna send this DM to me?'

"And then they'll probably be like, 'Oh my gosh. Molly-Mae I can't believe you replied. Love you.'"

She continued: "Like, this really is crazy. Insane to think that these people were actually just trying to get a rise out of you, they're trying to get you to reply by sending you a foul message.

"It gives me a little kick. I'm like, 'This person will never think I'm probably gonna even see this message'.

"But I have seen it and I want to see how they feel now they know that I've seen the message of them calling me fat."

The reality star went on to say that the trolls' responses 'fascinate her'.

She said she is grateful to have a close group of friends who are 'super positive'.

"And being around Tommy 24/7 is obviously great because those comments... Oh, my goodness," Molly-Mae continued.

"He's so good at dealing with them. Somehow it makes me feel like they just could not matter at all."

In July 2020, Molly-Mae hit out at trolls who called her 'lardy' after she shared photos of herself in a bikini.

An outraged fan shared the snaps of Molly and a screengrab selection of the comments, which branded Molly "lardy" and said she had an "awful body."

The fan penned: "These comments are so vile. 'Awful' and 'lardy' is apparently how to describe a normal womans body???"

Love Island stunner Molly retweeted the post, writing herself: "I would genuinely love to know who writes these comments?

"Like how can you actually write s**t like that and sleep at night? Beyond me."
