Molly-Mae Hague reveals she's had lumps removed from her breast and finger - and urges fans to check their bodies

Former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague revealed that she's undergone surgery to remove a lump from her breast, and another from her finger.

The entrepreneur shared photos from her hospital bed.

One pictured showed the 22-year-old smiling with relief as she explained about having the op.

Another showed her bandaged hand.

Molly-Mae, from Manchester, has previously spoken about finding the lump in her breast - and had been reassured that it was not harmful, but it was noticed it had grown in size.

"I spoke about a lump I found in my boob on a recent vlog of mine. Well I had it removed today," she told her followers as she took a selfie while cuddling her beloved toy elephant Ellie Belly.

The influencer and creative director for fashion brand PrettyLittleThing, who has 6.1 million followers, urged "check your bodes people".

Molly-Mae said about the other procedure: "Also had a lump removed from my finger that I've spoken about a few times too."

And she added: "Also having a cannula put in my hand has always been without a doubt my BIGGEST fear... so that in itself is a HUGE achievement for me."

In August, she said she had been referred for a biopsy after it was discovered that a benign lump in her breast had grown.

The health scare came after she had a cancerous mole removed from her leg last year.

Molly-Mae was alerted to it by her mum who saw it while she was on TV in the Spanish sunshine on the 2019 series of the ITV2 dating show.

She found out in a phone call from a doctor that it was cancerous as she filmed for her YouTube channel.

She told her followers: "I never thought at 21 something like this would happen to me and it's very scary but all I know is that I absolutely need to share my story and what I'm going through to raise awareness of the situation."

Molly-Mae said the mole appeared on her skin while she was a contestant on Love Island.

"This just appeared out of nowhere for me and my mum actually noticed it when I was on Love Island through watching me on TV," she told fans previously.

And she urged: “Never ignore changes to your body.”
