Molly-Mae Hague red-faced as fans point out phone mishap in sultry snap

Molly-Mae Hague said she was "mortified" after fans spotted that she was accidentally holding her phone upside down in a recent post.

The 21-year-old former Love Island star was left red faced after eagle eyed followers quickly picked up on the blunder.

In the original snap, that Molly shared with her 5.1 million Instagram followers, the blonde bombshell modelled a striking black gym outfit while candidly trying to hold her phone in her hand.

However, the bottom of her phone was clearly on show - and fans were quick to point out the mishap.

"Phones upside down in the first one luv," wrote one follower.

Another added: "Its the upside down phone for me."

The reality star appears to have since removed the snap from her profile but decided to address how embarrassed she was feeling about the blunder.

Appearing in an Instagram story, Molly-Mae told her fans that she was 'mortified' and also appeared to jokingly 'cancel' the pals who had approved the shot before she had posted it on social media.

"I came on here to say I'm actually highly, highly embarrassed about something I did yesterday," Molly told her fans.

"I posted a picture on my Instagram in which I was holding my phone as a little prop... I don't know why I was holding my phone to be honest.

"Anyway, basically I was holding it upside down and by the time I'd posted it it was too late, everyone had already seen it and everyone pointed it out to me and I'm actually mortified about it.

She added: "It wasn't just like discreetly upside down, it was fully upside down - the microphone was at the top and everything.

"I don't want to talk about it," she said - despite appearing to talk about it at length in the post.

Molly when went on to jokingly criticise some friends that she had sent the snap to beforehand.

"Yeah, my sister is no longer my sister because I did send this picture to her first, and a few other people - you know who you are, who didn't point this out to me - they're cancelled."
