Molly-Mae Hague issues easyJet warning as she almost gets caught out by rule

Molly-Mae Hague has issued a warning to her followers after she was almost prevented from boarding an easyJet flight.

The former Love Island star was preparing to jet off to Greece with sister Zoe when she encountered a problem at the airport.

Taking to her Instagram story, Molly-Mae told her 4.4m followers to watch out for the rule which almost halted her holiday plans.

Alongside a selfie of her with mask on ready to go, the 21-year-old said: "Never had a more stressful airport experience in my life.

"If you're flying to Greece/Crete or anywhere you need a QR code then please please please make sure you do it 48 hours before your flight.

"I did mine last night and when I arrived at the airport, I was told I wasn't allowed to fly today, luckily my sister had put me on the 'notes' section of her QR code form and it meant I was allowed to fly (shoutout to the group of people who asked for a pic and told us that this wasn't allowed!)"

Molly-Mae said she wanted to "warn" others as she was ready to send her sister off on her own.

The easyJet website currently states that you should "be aware of any specific travel requirements to the destination you are flying to."

Airline currently have tighter rules around flying (PA)

It adds: "Many countries are requiring specific forms (health declaration and or/ or locator forms) to be completed in advance, and presented either during boarding or on arrival."

Those travelling to Greece are currently required by the Greek government to fill out a Passenger Locator Form (PLF).

The local government website states: "All travelers must complete their PLF until the day before entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece."

Travellers will then receive a QR code on the day of their scheduled arrival in Greece (at midnight) and will be notified via email
