Molly-Mae Hague suffered a horrific injury as she attempted to remove her pre-lockdown set of acrylic nails at home.
The social media influencer, 21, told fans on Friday she'd ordered a DIY nail removal kit from Amazon in a bid to take off her remaining grown-out claws as salons remain closed due to the pandemic.
And the TV star promised to keep her 5.1million followers updated on how it went, taking to Instagram to share the final result.
"Let's try and get these off then," she told her viewers, showing off her original nails which had already been trimmed down.
She added: "I've already cut the length off, I just can't get these bits off."
However it didn't appear to work well at all, despite the package being an "Amazon special".
After a few hours, Molly-Mae returned to her Story and updated: "OK well that was a big fat juicy fail. The nail varnish has come off but the acrylic is still fully thriving and rock solid."

She then posted a snap of her poor index finger covered in blood with the nail split in half down the middle.
"That's enough nail DIY for one day," the star shared.
"If you know the pain, you know. Tommy came running in with a plaster and a Nurofen. I think he thought I severed my hand off."
In recent days, Molly-Mae was hit with heartache and left completely devastated after her close friend died from bowel cancer.
She took to Instagram to pay tribute to "amazing woman" Cheryl Kellett who sadly lost her battle with cancer on Thursday.
Alongside a stunning throwback photo of herself smiling alongside Cheryl, Molly-Mae revealed that the mum-of-three made a huge lasting impact on her life.
“Thank you for making such an incredible and positive impact on my life Cheryl,” she captioned the beautiful shot.
“One AMAZING woman, you'll be utterly missed.
“Please can my followers please pray for her three beautiful children at this heartbreaking time.”
Thankfully, Molly-Mae is surrounded by her boyfriend Tommy Fury who has been super supportive since her friend died.
