Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury sparks engagement rumours as he gifts her a ring

Speculation had been hot about whether Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury would get engaged.

In recent discussion about their proposal plans, the boxer insisted he would never let his girlfriend pop the question to him in the lead up to a leap year in February.

As February is just more than two months away, it seems a proposal may be looming.

The handsome Love Island hunk drove four hours to be reunited with his girlfriend on Christmas day evening and give her his present in person.

Molly-Mae was ecstatic to discover a gold band ring in a red jewellery box.

It was the very same ring she had pointed out to her beau while they were in New York City.

Instantly delighted, the Pretty Little Thing ambassador gave her 3.6million fans a good look at the rock she had been given.

Molly wrote alongside it in a caption: "I said I loved this ring and you remembered."

The Mirror has approached Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague's representatives for further comment.

It is not known what Molly-Mae had gifted her love in return.

But there's no question it would have been generous after she bought a brand new white Mercedes for Christmas.

During her time on Love Island, Molly-Mae was cruelly nicknamed "Money Mae" in the villa as viewers suggested she was only interested in the money from the show.

But the blonde bombshell dispelled any claims she was interested in money when she gifted her sister a ridiculously expensive set of wheels.

Molly-Mae was sure to capture the moment on camera as she didn't want to miss a moment.

It comes after Tommy shut down claims he would let Molly-Mae propose to him in the upcoming leap year.

The hunk reassured fans he has plans to seal the deal as he promised they talked about the future "a lot".

He told OK magazine : "Any man who lets a woman propose is not a man. It’s obviously gone wrong somewhere. Imagine if she did that!"
