Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury show haul from first baby shop with adorable nod to their time in Love Island

Pregnant Molly-Mae Hague has showed fans purchases from her first baby shopping spree with her man Tommy Fury. The former Love Island stars announced last Sunday (September 25) that Molly-Mae is expecting.

In the video, captioned "I can't wait for the adventures that we haven't even dreamed of yet", Molly-Mae was in tears as said the same words to Tommy in the famous Love Island villa where they met and fell in love back in the summer of 2019. The clip then cut to mum-to-be Molly gently stroking her blossoming bump as Tommy held her.

The Manchester boxer was then seen tenderly planting a kiss on her bump as she laughed with delight. Molly-Mae followed the announcement with a gorgeous black and white video charting her pregnancy journey. She shared a tearjerking video on YouTube showing the life-changing moment she found out that she was to become a mum and moment she told Tommy, presenting the positive pregnancy test to him as he looked up at her in amazement.

Molly-Mae then held an Instagram Q&A about her pregnancy with fans, inviting them to ask her questions. She was asked "have you started baby shopping?"

An excited Molly-Mae replied: "No but I can now! I can't wait. Tommy and I would try and sneakily go into the baby section of shops and have loud convos like 'what do you think your cousin would like for her baby shower?' whilst looking at all the cute clothes we wanted to get. I'm so excited to start getting the things we need."

And the pair have now hit the shops for their little one. Sharing photos of their haul she said: "Did out first shopping today."

One snap showed a smiling Tommy holding an oversized plush toy elephant, and Molly-Mae knowingly added a laughing emoji alongside an elephant emoji. Molly-Mae famously packed her beloved cuddly elephant Ellie-Belly to join her on the ITV2 dating show, and Tommy melted hearts by also showing his devotion to Ellie-Belly.

In emotional scenes, and one of the highlights of the series which cemented them as a favourite couple, Molly-Mae broke down in tears when she returned to the villa from rival villa Casa Amor, which puts relationships to the test with a new batch of Islanders to tempt them. She was overcome when she saw Tommy waiting for her with Ellie.

She had been convinced he had dumped her when she noticed her beloved toy was missing from their bed and sobbed even more when she saw him with it. Former host the late Caroline Flack also admitted she was close to tears.

Molly-Mae also shared a picture of a button-up cream baby sleep suit, matching hat and fluffy booties from their shopping trip. In her YouTube video Molly-Mae revealed that they already know the baby's gender, as she jumped for joy with a gender reveal balloon and Tommy held a pin, and she said in her Q&A that she is more than five months pregnant.

She and Tommy fell for each other after she arrived as a newcomer two days into the Love Island experience. American TV star and writer Lena Dunham, who was taken with Love Island UK while filming in Wales, described their love story as "penguin-like devotion" in an essay for The Guardian.

Instagrammer Molly-Mae and boxer Tommy, a former pupil at St Ambrose Barlow High School in Swinton, became the only official boyfriend and girlfriend of that series. They ended up runners-up to 2019 winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.

The boys sprinkled rose petals over the terrace and pal Curtis Pritchard wrote a message in eye liner for Tommy to give to Molly-Mae attached to Ellie-Belly which read: “Dear Mummy. Daddy left me here in his best interests. He wanted me to tell you that you’re his everything. I’m going to leave it with Daddy. So…”

Tommy then turned to Molly-Mae and said: “On a serious note, you know how much you mean to me and you’re the only girl for me. I only want to be with you. Therefore, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"
