Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury pranked into thinking they landed a James Corden interview

Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are the latest stars to fall victim to notorious celebrity prankster Josh Pieters.

He made the oblivious Love Island finalists think they were being interviewed by James Corden on the Late Late Show.

Clips of the US favourite asking random questions were snatched from other shows by the YouTube star, who cobbled together an interview as the pair sat on their sofa dressed to impress.

They were told by a fake producer that transatlantic issues means they couldn't actually see James asking his questions - but he could see them.

Like his others victims, they only find out when the video drops online.

They didn't even twig when a soundbite of James saying 'oh wow' was played a number of times at their less than amazing answers.

James begun: "So, you two are dating?"

Confused boxer Tommy responded: "It might be a bit past dating, but call it that if you want!"

Fake James then asked them to explain what it is they actually do.

He also wanted to know who would play them in a movie - and asked who was doing the housework in lockdown.

The comedian kept them going for a few minutes without the couple thinking a thing was wrong.

Funnyman Josh has history - he wound up Katie Hopkins by dragging the controversial star to Prague to collect a fake award earlier this year.

He presented Katie with a trophy for a lifetime achievement award at a fake ceremony for made-up campaign group The Cape Town Collective For Freedom of Speech.

Josh said he emailed her asking if she would fly to accept their made-up award, dubbed the Campaign to Unify the Nation Trophy.

Things turned controversial as she was recorded mocking Muslims, Asian people and epilepsy sufferers.

Fans loved his latest prank as he stitched up the Love Island stars.

"Josh! You're spoiling us!!!" one posted.

Another said: "Let's just hope James Corden sees the funny side!"
