Molly-Mae battling to feel like her 'old self' as she shares new motherhood struggles

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her battle to feel like her "old self" as she returns to work after giving birth to her daughter.

The Love Island star, who shares Bambi with boxer Tommy Fury, revealed she was feeling positive as she prepared for work meetings without her baby girl by her side.

However, she admitted that she had found some elements of motherhood tricky over the last couple of months.

Speaking to her fans in a new vlog, she began: "I'm feeling really good today, I've been to the gym already. We've had a busy morning, Tommy is watching Bambi and I have a really busy day out in town."

Molly-Mae explained she was heading to a meeting for her tanning brand Filter by Molly-Mae.

She went on to speak openly and frankly about her struggles since becoming a mum earlier in the year.

The Love Island star, who met Tommy on the ITV show in 2019, explained: "Even though I was breastfeeding I still had a period...which is why I had to bring my breastfeeding journey to an end. I exclusively breastfed for six weeks, I've had so many questions about it, I managed to get to six weeks which I was really proud of. I didn't think I'd get this far."

"I don't really know the science behind it," she admitted. "But I came on my period whilst I was breastfeeding so that was an indicator to me that I wasn't producing enough milk, my milk supply completely dried up. Bambi was sucking on my nipple and nothing was coming out and she was getting so upset."

Just weeks after a tearful breakdown, Molly-Mae told her fans she was starting to feel like her "old self".

She continued: "I'm so happy to be sat in the car right now with my camera vlogging, it feels so good. I'm starting to feel glimpses of my old self creeping back through."

Meanwhile, the Pretty Little Thing creative director shared a cute snap of baby Bambi as she and Tommy prepared to celebrate the tot's first Easter.

Molly-Mae captioned the cute images: "Easter lunch with our little girl."

The influencer uploaded a picture of her family before adding a snap of Tommy and their baby daughter.
