Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury go for romantic drive in Manchester for her 21st birthday

It may not have been the 21st birthday that Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague was expecting, but she said it was 'the best day ever' as she went for a drive in Manchester.

As the sun set on her big day, Molly-Mae filmed the view as boxer Tommy took them for a spin in their home city.

Sharing the video clip on her Instagram social media influencer Molly-Mae wrote: "Best birthday ever.

"Thank you so much to every single person that wished me happy birthday.

"Felt the love more than ever."

The couple were all-smiles as they left their home wearing matching white trainers.

Molly-Mae met her beau on the ITV2 dating show Love Island set in a villa in Mallorca last year.

She reflected on how she also spent her 20th birthday in unusual circumstances isolating as she prepared to go on Love Island last summer.

"How ironic that I was in 'lockdown' for that birthday too." she wrote to her 4.1million followers on Instagram.

"However it was the Love Island lockdown, two weeks in a remote Spanish town on a mountain."

Molly-Mae explained that she spent the day with just her chaperone and a 'field of goats' and ate 'spag bol' in a tiny cafe.

And her present was a lilo that that they couldn't blow up.

"No phone, no computer, I couldn't even speak to my family," she said.

A year on she feels like 'the luckiest girl in the world.'

"Love Island was the best experience of my life and the reason I met my @tommytntfury," she added.

"Forever in debt."

Romantic Tommy filled the couple's Manchester apartment with huge balloon displays, endless gifts and a huge three-tier cake for the birthday girl.

And he bought her a puppy called Mr Chai.

A note for Molly-Mae read: "Dear mummy, I can't wait to meet you in a few days.

"Until then have the best birthday and I know daddy will be spoiling you rotten. Love you lots. Your son, Mr Chai."

In a tweet alongside various pictures Molly-Mae said: "Luckiest girl in the world. Don’t know what I did to deserve my best friend @tommytntfury."
