Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Lucie Donlan’s relationship appears to have crumbled even further as it is revealed they did not invite each other to their respective launch parties.
According to The Sun, Lucie chose not to invite Molly-Mae to the launch of her £200,000 Peng Hair collaboration in August, days after claiming that “no-one really speaks to her [Molly-Mae]”.
Lucie’s event was attended by a number of Love Islanders including Belle Hassan, Anton Danyluk, Francesca Allen and Marvin Brooks.
In a show of mutual dislike, Molly-Mae snubbed Lucie by not inviting her to her PrettyLittleThing launch in Manchester less than two weeks later.
Influencer Molly-Mae was joined for her launch by boyfriend Tommy Fury, whose friendship with Lucie in the villa is believed to be the source of friction between the girls.
The PrettyLittleThing launch was attended by Amber Gill, Amy Hart, Maura Higgins, Anna Vakili and Joanna Chimonidies.
It was also revealed last week that Yewande Biala was also left off the guest list for the Manchester launch night.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “While Lucie and Tommy were close in the villa, viewers saw that Molly-Mae didn’t appreciate her declarations of love while they were together.
“There hasn’t been a single explosive incident that forced Lucie and Molly-Mae apart, it just became clear upon leaving the villa that there was no friendship there.”
News of the girls snubbing each other’s high-profile launches comes just days after Lucie claimed that nobody was speaking to Molly-Mae.
Rumours of tensions between the Love Island girls began after Molly-Mae opted to skip Belle’s lipstick party last month, following a spat with her then-boyfriend Anton Danyluk.
